Arbitration
Arbitration is the submission of a dispute to one or more impartial and
independent persons for a final and binding decision.
Both parties attend the hearinng and have an opportunity
to argue their position.
Decisions or awards are made in
writing and are generally final and binding on the parties involved in
the matter.
Arbitration has substantial advantages over judicial proceedings
particularly in matters in which the subject matter of the dispute is
highly technical and confidentiality is highly valuable.
